It is rare that I get to talk about myself publicly– normally I am discussing other companies, other people, or at best giving my own thoughts about others. It was a nice change of pace to introspect a bit. To be honest, it feels self-indulgent, and I had a hard time listening to it, but at the same time it was helpful to hold up a mirror and to listen to myself speaking my thoughts aloud. Apparently I also say, "you know?" way too much.

Paul Millerd is the author of The Pathless Path: Imagining a New Story For Work and Life, and his work, including this podcast, is all about figuring out alternative paths to the normal grind that most of us find ourselves in.

If you are interested in hearing a bit about my origin story and my evolving thoughts on post-exit life, you might enjoy it.

Also, I am moderating a panel on the Metaverse (!) at this year's Alleycon conference this coming Friday at 3pm ET with panelists from Meta, echo3D, Autodesk, and more.

The lineup for the whole day looks great and tickets are only $25 for students / $50 for the general public. (It's online so you can join from anywhere.)
